Coaching A Safer Game
Because football and cheer gives a youngster an opportunity to make themselves better persons on and off the field. Football is basic training. This basic training can be an essential part of being successful in a safe competitive environment.
The Blue Tigers know that safety comes first — both for the players on the field and their parents on the sidelines. Having a Heads Up Football program in place, with teams led by USA Football certified coaches, goes a long way toward showing that youth football is being taught the right way and that parents feel confident about your league.
All of our coaches are certified for USA Heads Up Football, are members of the National Youth Sports Coaches Association, trained in concussion awareness, have passed a background screening, attend live and online Glazier Clinics throughout the year, and have coached at the youth, middle school, and high school levels.
Our program is fully insured with the most comprehensive and cost-effective insurance protection for the most important people involved — the participating athletes who play this sport — ASG Programs from ESP Specialty currently covers more than 350,000 participants nationwide.
Equipment
The Blue Tigers use only Schutt Vengeance A11 helmets and Y-Flex 4.0 shoulder pads.

SafeSport
The Blue Tigers have partnered with USA SafeSport corporate policy that addresses misconduct. Athletes who have been mistreated may experience social embarrassment, emotional turmoil, psychological scars, loss of self-esteem and negative impacts on their relationships with their family, friends, and the sport.
